Single Player Project Classics Collection (Vanilla and The Burning Crusade). I'll be using the Single Player Project Classics Collection for the rest of this guide, but much of the information should carry over to the other expansions as well. Typically the older expansions work better, while the newer ones may have missing content, scripting bugs or have no support for bots. There are several single player projects for different expansions. In this guide, I will walk you through the setup process so you can get in the game quickly and easily. The Auction House even works, so you can still buy things you need from it. You can order them to attack targets or to even guard positions. If you invite these bots to your party, you can control their behavior, changing the game into a more traditional party-based RPG. It will populate the game world with bots that run around in place of other human players so the world isn't completely empty. Either to test out classes, learn dungeons or just explore the game world and see content you otherwise would never see, this can all be done by running a local private server. You can use lua pattern matching for item names if you want. "Raid" is for any raid group, both inside and outside of instances. "Outside" is for non-raid groups that aren't in an instance. "Solo" is for anything you can loot without rolling. You can drag items to the editbox to add their names. Don't change the order or remove anything though. If it needs to be more specific, you can edit the text it adds to change the type/subtype, quality, and iLvl range. To add a rule, click the question mark button and pick something from the list. 
If you keep adding groups/items/rules, then eventually you'll never have to manually loot/roll again, unless you're the unlucky loot master. You'll probably have a group of things you always want to take, like badges of justice and quest items. You create groups of items, and each group is set to handle looting/rolling for all the items in it. Shortcut to enable or disable passing on everything
Can take and destroy unwanted items in skinning mode. 
Can automatically loot, roll, pass, or do nothing for specific items or items based on type/rarity/iLevel rules. Since it died, they still haven't been extensively tested on modern servers.
